Default Some of the Flags directing to 404 redirects

Hi there,

I have sent in a ticket, but no reply to date (maybe the time differences)

I have a problem with some of the flags displayed on my blog.
When I first installed WP Translator PRO on a site today, all the flags came up with the message, that the translation could not be displayed yet & come back later - no probs there, as that is what Marc has warned us about. (This is the 1st time I've used it).
But when I clicked the Spanish flag, it went to a 404 redirect.

I checked it again a couple of hours later and then the German flag, was going to a 404 redirect in addition to the earlier Spanish.

I have just checked it again several hours later and now the French flag goes to a 404 redirect in addition to the other 2 earlier flags.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Regards

Pete

Hey,

I would not use this product until they get the bugs out.

It sounds like they need to apply some rigorous SQA which would reduce the cost of maint, dev, and customer complaints.

Red face Thanks for reply, still not convinced by it

Thanks mate for your reply.

Agree with you that there still are bugs and I know we are part of the Beta testing, but I expected it to be a lot more stable.

Marc is hopefully sorting it out and we will get there.

Regards

Pete

Angry Dissapointed as to performance

Hi there,

I have been checking back on my results for 2 x sites I have now installed WP Translator PRO. Neither have any translations. On one site, that has been up for over 48hrs - 5 x flags are not working, no translations on any pages. On the other - 3 x flags are not working, been up for over 24hrs, no translations as well.

Can anyone help here, as I raised a ticket on Thursday, got a reply Friday morning UK time, followed that up, but for the past 24hrs have heard nothing.

Has anyone got the translations working ok?
Am I doing something wrong here?
Have great hopes for the product, but having second thoughts now.

Please, can someone let me know what is going on

Regards

Pete

Default No problems so far

Hello,
I have the translator on a site and it appears to be working fine. All of the numbers in the cache are changing daily, so no problems so far.
Did you install it yourself by watching the videos, they are really good.
If you are not getting any translations, did you add the api to the area of ip addresses, this is the most important step. If you don't have that you are not going to get any translations....Did you update with the new file that just came out. That was holding the translations up, but the fix works great.
I don't know what you have going on, to tell you the truth.
You are not hearing anything back from them because it is the weekend in Aussie land and I am sure they would like some time off too. YOu should hear something in a couple days I am sure.
Steve

Excuse me, but why would you need that WP Translator at all? You don't get additional indexed pages with it and it only loads server and uses more of your bandwidth.

Make sure you go to Permalinks Under Options->Permalinks and then click update permalinks.

I have a feeling that may be your problem with the messages you are getting.

The translated pages are cached over time and stored on the server so they are indexed.

Hi Steve,

There was an update to a file in WP Translator? Were we suppose to get an email notifying up so we can download it? I'm not sure where to get it if there was an update to a file?

Thanks for your help,
Mike
